
Little Cypress Mauriceville nabbed their 7th district win Friday in Mustang territory. The Lady Bears shared the ball well offensively in the 49-24 victory, evident by the 9 different Lady Bears who were able to put points on the board.
Kendall Jones had a spectacular night, scoring 15 points including four from 3 to go along with several assists. Makayla Dougharty fought for 8 points of her own, while Taylor Huckaby had 7 points to go along with an incredible effort on the defensive end, blocking numerous Lady Mustang shot attempts.
The Lady Bears will be home on Tuesday, facing Vidor. The JV will start at 4:30 and the varsity at 5:30.

The Lady Bobcats traveled to Kirbyville to take on the Lady Wildcats and came away with a big team win, 71–19.
Brooklyn Wagoner led the way with 26 points, 6 steals, and 5 assists. Olivia Smith followed with 17 points, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Paisley Reeves also had a solid night, finishing with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The Lady Bobcats are back home next Tuesday as they take on the East Chambers Lady Buccaneers with JV tipping off at 4:30 PM with varsity to follow.

Bridge City remains undefeated in district after a 66-23 win over Vidor. The Lady Cards jumped out to a 23-4 lead after the first quarter. Kenlee Putnam led the team with six rebounds. Kennedy Campbell had 12 pts. and led the team with six assists. Kaylee Britten (12 points), Kenlee Putnam (10 points), Mia Sterling (8 points), Aubrey Small (7 points), Steely Franklin (6 points), Brooklyn Mahana (4 points), Rylee Hebert (2 points), Parker Dishon (2 points), and Kendal Krailo (2 points). Next up for BC is a game against Lumberton on Tuesday.

Bridge City 63 Vidor 52 – Cardinals out last a tough opponent in the Vidor Pirates and move to 8-0 in district and 19-9 overall. Cardinals were led by Aaden Bush with 21 pts and Abraham Munguia with 19 pts. Freshman Cardinals get a win to stay perfect in district and JV Cards dropped a thriller to JV Pirates. Cards resume action Tuesday when they travel to Lumberton.

WOS beat LCM 66-49. Sophomores Braydon Gipson scored 20 pts and KJ Joullevette scored 10 pts and 9 rebounds. Kwalin Dugas had 12 pts and 8 rebounds with 5 of them being offensive. Geramicah Davis had 10 pts, 7 rebs and 8 assists. This moves the Mustangs to 4-4 in district play with a big matchups verses Vidor next Friday at home.
