The WOS Mustangs jumped out to a 10 point lead in the second quarter and never looked back as they beat the LCM Bears 62-43. Kwalin Dugas lead a balanced attack with 14, Miketavion Davis 13 and Germicah Davis and Jamarr ONeal and Ja’Michael Davis added nine each. For LCM (3-4) Floyd and K Reed had 10 each.

BC came back and beat Vidor (4-3) on the road 55-49. Leading the Cards (4-3) were Abraham Munguia with 16 pts, Braydon Denison with 14 & Aaden Bush with 11. BC plays WOS on Saturday in a makeup game.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats (9-2) had another dominant district team win against the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats with the final being 77-23. Olivia Smith led the night with 15 points, 5 steals, and 3 rebounds. Madison McCormack had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Brooklyn Wagoner also had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals.
The JV Lady Bobcats secured a win with the final as 24-22. Aspen Babin led the JV team with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Melissa Saucedo had 5 points and 8 rebounds. Finally, Paxton Oldham had 4 points and 5 rebounds.
The Lady Bobcats will be on the road next Tuesday to take on the East Chambers Lady Buccaneers. JV will start at 4:30 and the varsity to follow right after.

LCM beat WOS 39-22. For LCM (5-4) Mallory Russell had 10 points, Emily Smith had 9, and Keylie Washburn had 8. Teammates Taylor Huckaby and Eden Frenzel were dominant on the boards. The JV got the night started with a 47-8 win. Paityn Golden set the pace with a season high 30 points. Haylynn Trosclair had 9. The Lady Bears will be traveling to Vidor on Tuesday night to take on the Lady Pirates.
LCM also welcomed back Superfan Pete Mota following a stroke. Good to see you Pete!
