The Cardinals were down 17-2 with 3:55 left in the first half. But in the second half they continued to chip away while the cold front shifted towards the Bears (3-3). Braydon Denison would hit a three pointer at the buzzer to send the game into OT and Jagger Carlin would hit three free throws to seal the win for the Cards (3-3). The Cards, who were still without starter Abraham Munguia, were led by Denison with 11 points. Aaden Bush had nine. Khayden Reed had 14 and Jonah Fuller nine for LCM.
Kountze 79 Orangefield 35. The Lions improved to 7-0 and OF is 5-2.
WOS beat Jasper 61-53. Geramicah Davis went off with 26 pts. The Mustangs are now 3-3 and Jasper falls to 0-6.
Silsbee defeated Vidor 84-50. Tigers move to 6-0 and Pirates are 4-2.

GIRLS
The Lady Cards (6-1) completed the sweep over LCM 45-38. BC High point: Kennedy Campbell (11), Rebounds: Kenlee Putnam (4), Steals: Aubrey Small (4). The Lady Cards will face WOS next Wednesday! Varsity only @ 5:30. For LCM (4-4), Mallory Russell had 13 points, Maya Meadows 11, and Keylie Washburn had 9. The BC JV beat LCM 44-18.
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats (7-2) played with a lot of heart and grit but unfortunately came up short to the Kountze Lady Lionettes (9-0) with the final 39- 61. Mikayla Locke led the night with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Olivia Smith also had 10 points with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Finally, Brooklyn Wagoner had 9 points and 3 rebounds. This puts the Lady Bobcats record to 7-2 and they will take on the Warren Lady Warriors this coming Monday in Warren. The varsity Lady Bobcats will play at 12:00pm.
WOS beat Jasper 50-33. Mustangs improve to 2-6 and the Lady Bulldogs drop to 1-7/
