Vidor battled back from a double digit deficit in the fourth to send the game vs. BC into OT and the Pirates came away with the 68-59 win. Bryce Loftin lead with 20, Eric Baker 15 and Jose Guerrero-Evans 11. For the Cardinals, Aaden Bush with 22 pts. Jagger Carlin, John Smart and Elijah Akers chipped in with 7 a piece. Cards drop to 13-6 (0-2).
Orangefield 81 Kirbyville 32
LCM beat WOS 56-47. For the Bears, Jonah Fuller had 22 and Khayden Reed pulled down 13 rebounds.
GIRLS
The BC Lady Cards bring their district record to 3-0 with a win over Vidor: 61-33. BC High point: Mia Sterling (12) and Nicole Sasser (9) Rebounds: Kenlee Putnam (6) Assists: Kennedy Campbell (4) Steals: Aubrey Small (5).
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats got another district win over the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats with the final 62-19. Rebecca Durbin led the night with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Mikayla Locke also had 15 points of her own with 6 steals and 3 assists. Paisley Reeves had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 block. Finally, Olivia Smith led the boards with 10 rebounds for the night. This puts the Lady Bobcats district record as 3-1 going into the Christmas break. The Varsity Lady Bobcats will take on the Evadale Rebels on December 30th in Evadale at 11am.
