The Vidor Pirates won the championship of the EC tournament today 61-48 against East Chambers. Highlights from today’s game: Jose Guerrero-Evans with 22 pts, Bryce Loftin with 18 pts. Bryce was selected as the MVP of the tournament and Jose made the All-Tournament team.

Bobcats go cold from the field and lose to a talented Westwood team 49-35. Jaden Scales 15 points 2 assists; Zane Wrinkle 11 points 6 rebounds. Record: 18-2 (1-0)

GIRLS
The Lady Bears came up short in the championship game of the EC Tournament this morning. Junior Keylie Washburn and Sophomore Eden Frenzel were selected All-Tournament. District play will resume next week on Tuesday at home against BC, freshman starting at 4:30.
