LCM opened district with a 58-42 win over Lumberton. The Bears (11-6, 1-0) were lead by Ben Elliot’s 24 points and Alantheon Winn added 14. Bears will play Houston Yates on Monday.
Orangefield lost to state ranked Silsbee 101-70. The Bobcats had four players in double figures, Zane Wrinkle 15, Koen Maddox 14, Cameron Dischler 14, Pete Ragusa 10.
Vidor beat Bridge City 56-28.
WOS lost to Nederland 57-48.
Deweyville lost to Kelly 90-53. Nathan Berry lead DV with 17 and Ryan Bland had 15.

Orangefield (1-1) lost to Silsbee 65-49. Harleigh Rawls put up an impressive 18 points for the Bobcats. She added in 2 assists and 4 steals. Joli Ponfick was also a big scorer with 14 points, 1 steal and 1 assist. Jaslyn Newman added 6 total rebounds, and 6 points. Greenlea Oldham had 8 rebounds, 1 block and 7 points.
Bridge City (1-1) beat Vidor (0-2) 30-26.
WOS lost at Jasper 55-28.
Deweyville lost to Kelly 48-40. Aleigha Raymer 20 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals; Emilee Totino 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals; Jill Thompson 5 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assist, and 2 steals; Brooke Sims 5 points; Haley Williams 4 points. DV will host East Chambers on Monday.
