The Bridge City Cardinals outscored the West Orange-Stark Mustangs 20-2 in the second quarter and cruised to a 78-46 road win. BC improves to 3-2 and WOS falls to 2-3.
The Mustangs were without 10 varsity players who were placed into quarantine after a Silsbee player tested positive. WOS played at Silsbee on Tuesday.
Austin Richardson (20pts) led four Cards in double figures. Gabe Castillo had 16, Braylen Collins 13, and Grant Boudreaux 12. Ethan Oceguera added 9. Jerren Terrell had 12 for WOS.

LCM beat Silsbee 68-37 as the Tigers varsity was quarantined. Ben Elliot scored 33 and Da’Marion Morris 15 for the Bears. The Bears (2-3) will play at BC Tuesday in a game that can be heard on KOGT.

The Orangefield Bobcats beat Vidor 61-49. It’s been a good week for Bryce Bergeron. After scoring 26 on Tuesday, he followed that with 25 against the Pirates. Pete Ragusa scored 18 and Payton Wrinkle 5.

Deweyville opened district with a 45-38 loss to Sabine Pass. The Pirates led 24-20 at the half but only scored 4 in the third. James Menard led DV with 21 and Ethan Willet added 12.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats beat Vidor 59-27. Harleigh Rawls led OF with 14 points and 4 rebounds. Joli Ponfick 11 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds; Greenlea Oldham 8 points and 8 rebounds; Madison Greenway 8 points and 12 rebounds; Kenadie DuBois 6 points and 8 rebounds; Jaslyn Newman 6 points, 6 rebound, and 4 blocks; Kaiya Boquet 5 points and 3 assists.
