Orange County celebrates another District Champion as the LCM Lady Bears secure the 19-4A Title. Head Coach Dena Adkins shows off their champion T’s with Coach Kugler, Hurst, and Davis.

It was a hit parade for the Lady Bears. Every starter had at least one hit. Eden Frenzel (3RBI), Jacelyn Cook (2 RBI), Lexis Moss (2RBI), Ava Moore, Tess Erickson (RBI), and Ella Stephenson (2RBI) had two hits each. Erickson gave up just two hits in the victory.

The Vidor Pirates came back from a 6-0 deficit to beat Jasper 11-9. Natalie Morrison was 4-4 with 4RBI, and Andreya Garrett was 2-4 with 2 HR and 3 RBI’s. Gracie Matherne went 3-4 with an RBI.

Kaydence Corkran threw a one hit shutout with 6K’s in the win. Haley Munoz lead the Cards offense going 3-4 with 3RBI. Nicole Sasser, M Strong and M Carey had two hits each. Nataleigh Sims had the hit for WOS.

Evadale 7 Deweyville 5
The Rebels got only 3 hits against Baylee Smith but it was enough for the win as the Pirates posted 4 errors. Smith finished with 13K’s.

LCM 5 WOS 2
Marco Bandiero hit two HR’s and Parker Seago added another as the Bears swept the Mustangs in their back to back meetings this week. Bandiero finished 2-2 3RBI and Seago 3-4 2RBI. Parker Freeman also went 2-3. Dylan Istre, Freeman and Bandiero combined for the pitching victory. The Mustangs had four hits, 2 by William Lee, and one each for Zach Nation and Christian Anderson.

BC 7 Jasper 1
Braylen Collins and Landon Reeves held Jasper to just 3 hits and struck out 11. Both pitchers also had the best day at the plate. Collins was 2-4 with a double and 3RBI’s. Reeves was 3-4 with a double. JS Bearden and Justin Abate added RBI’s.

The Pirates strengthened their lead on first in 19-4A by completing the two game sweep over the Raiders. Logan Morris pitched a gem. A complete game 2 hitter with 8K’s and only 3 walks. Austin Cadroy had two hits and an RBI. Venable, Bailey, Watson and Beavers also added RBI’s.
