After Landon Bailey singled in the bottom of the seventh, Jarrett Odom drove him in with a triple and the Vidor Pirates beat Woodville 3-2 in the Orange County Classic. Vidor will play Shepherd Saturday at 12:30 pm at LCM.

Orangefield won twice at the Tatum Tournament, beating Tatum 10-1 and Spring Hill 10-1. Garrett Rawls struck out 10 in the win over Tatum while C. Dearing was 3-5 with 2RBI. Against SH the Bobcats scored 7 in the first. Jason Bodin threw a 5 inning no hitter with 7K.

WOS shutout Shepherd 14-0. The Mustangs will host Good Samaritan and High Island on Saturday beginning at 10am.

LCM beat Good Samaritan 11-1 and High Island 15-0. The Bears will host Woodville and Shepherd beginning at 3:30pm Saturday.

SOFTBALL
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats fell to the Anahuac Lady Panthers 10-5. The Lady Bobcats fall to 2-1 in district play, and travel to East Chambers Tuesday at 2:00.

LCM defeated BC 4-2. Tessa Erickson got the win with 7K’s. Jacelyn Cook was 3-4 with an RBI. Eden Frenzel was 2-4 with an RBI.

Vidor whipped Silsbee 19-0 in 3 innings. The Lady Pirates scored 12 in the first. A.Garrett was 3-4, 3 doubles and 6 RBI’s. N.Morrison was the winning pitcher giving up just two hits.
