
Bridge City “slade” the WOS Mustangs, winning 17-0 in five. Slade Landry and Slade Herman combined for the no hitter. Landry struck out six in three inning with no walks and also doubled in two at the plate. Hunter Ford had two hits and Dax Latiolas drove in three with a double. Cards are now 12-1-1 with five shutouts on the season. WOS is 2-10.

LCM lost a non-district game to the Hudson Hornets 2-1. With the game tied at 1 in the 6th Hudson scores on a passed ball with the bases loaded for the win. LCM had eight hits (Struwe 2, Scheiderer 2, Raney 2). Bears now 12-4.

Orangefield pounds Warren 12-3 to improve to 13-2. DH Kaleb Menard was 2-4 with a triple and 3 RRBI. Mathew Johnson got the CG win striking out 8 and walking none.

Deweyville lost to Sabine Pass 9-4 to split their district series. All four Pirate runs came in the 6th with RBI’s from Gray, Gunter, Gallagher, and Lee.
SOFTBALL
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Warren Lady Warriors 17-0 in 6 innings as Charlee Sanches tossed a no hitter with 7 strikeouts. Alysen Vincent led the offense going 4 for 4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Paisley Reeves added two hits including a double with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Charlee Sanches had two walks, a single and 3 runs scored. Madi LaSalle had a single and an RBI. Teal Kibodeaux had a double, a walk and 3 runs scored. Laila Agerton had a single, 2 walks and 2 runs scored. Jocelynn Droddy had a single, a double, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Hallee Becker had a double and a run scored. Kenli Vacek had a run scored. The Lady Bobcats improve to 21-4 on the year and 5-0 in district play. The JV Lady Bobcats also got a 15-3 win over the Warren Lady Warriors to improve to 5-3 on the year. The Lady Bobcats will celebrate Youth Night this Tuesday vs. Buna with the JV beginning at 5:00 and the varsity at 6:30 in Orangefield. Kids are invited for line up call out at 6:10, and to run the bases after the game.

Bridge City routed Jasper 12-2 collecting 14 hits in the game. Kennadee Sheffield pitched 7 innings and tallied 7 strikeouts while only walking one. And at the plate she was 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Cheyenne Mendoza also went 3-4 with 2RBI’s. BC is now 13-8-1 (4-0).

LCM beat Silsbee 6-3 to improve to 4-0. LCM was up 6-0 before Silsbee tried to rally with three in the seventh. Ella Stephenson got the win giving up 3 runs on 3 hits with 6K’s and 6 walks. Tessa Erickson finished the seventh for the save.
