University of Mary Hardin-Baylor junior Bailey Frenzel has been named American Southwest Conference Hitter of the Week for the week ending March 18th.
Frenzel, a junior from Orange, hit .625 last week, going 10-for-16 from the plate. She totaled two hits and one RBI in the Cru’s midweek sweep at Trinity University. Frenzel followed with a .727 percentage against Howard Payne. She opened with a 4-for-4 performance in game one, hitting one double and driving in three runs. She followed that with a 3-for-4 performance in game two, adding a pair of RBI. Frenzel closed the weekend with a three-RBI walk off home run, sealing the Cru’s 5-2 win and series victory. She recorded a 1.18 slug percentage on the week with 14 total bases.
