O’Shaquie Foster, the WBC super featherweight champion from Orange, will defend his title against reigning WBC Featherweight Champ Stephen Fulton on Oct. 25 at the MGM in Vegas as the Co-Main Event.
This matchup was originally scheduled for August but the event was cancelled.
The 31 year old Foster (23-3, 13 KOs) is facing an opponent who is pursuing a third world championship in three different weight classes. Fulton (23-1, 8 KOs) is moving up in weight class after defeating Brandon Figueroa by unanimous decision for the WBC featherweight title in February.
The fight draws attention as it pits two WBC world champions against each other, while also featuring fighters backed by different promotional companies: Foster with Top Rank and Fulton with Prime Boxing.
