After 12 rounds of boxing, it was supposed to be a formality that Shock Foster would retain his title belt Saturday night. Everyone watching knew he won the fight. Instead, everyone was “shocked” to see the champ lose in a split decision to Robson Conceição.
“They stole this from me,” Shock said after the announcement. The judge on the broadcast had Shock winning 11 of 12 rds. The announcers were in disbelief and did not hide their feelings on air. Shock finished the interview by saying, “Rematch! ASAP!”
As you can see, Robson only landed 11% of his punches.
