
Update: Thursday morning Bridge City (at Silsbee) and LCM (at Lumberton) have joined the list of games moving to Thursday night.
In an attempt to beat some bad weather that is predicted for Friday into Friday night, some football teams have moved their varsity games to Thurday.
That includes Deweyville and Orangefield. The Pirates go to Sabine Pass and the Bobcats host Kirbyville for Senior night. And as of Thursday morning Bridge City has moved their game to Thursday night at 7 PM at Silsbee.
KOGT has spoken with Eric Peevey at LCM and Jeff Mathews at Vidor today and both say they are sticking to their Friday schedule. The Bears travel to Lumberton in a game you can watch on KOGT.com and Vidor will travel to Huffman. WOS is off this week.
Other games moved to Thursday: Coldspring at Shepherd, Colmesneil at Hull-Daisetta, Kountze at New Waverly, East Chambers at Hardin, Buna at Tarkington, Livingston at Splendora.

In volleyball the bi-district playoffs are set for our local teams.
LCM will open the playoffs Monday vs Splendora at 6pm in Warren.
Bridge City will play Liberty at 6pm in Tuesday at East Chambers HS.
Orange will play Huntington on Tuesday at 6pm at Warren HS.
Vidor will face Hardin-Jefferson on Tuesday at 5:30pm at Kountze High School.
Deweyville will follow Vidor on Tuesday at 7:30 in Kountze as they’ll play Groveton.

And while we’re talking schedules the Astros have announced that all games in the World Series will start at 7:03pm.
