Bobcats make it five straight. On Monday, Sunset was the host course for day 1 of the District 22 AAA golf championships. The Bobcats team consisting of Davey Hogg, Owen Sims, Gavin Gravett, Peyton Revia and Andrew Burt posted a 337 team total, putting them on top.
The Bobcats were led by Davey Hogg firing an opening round 81, followed by Owen Sims’s 82, placing them in medalist contention.
On Wednesday, Wildwood would be the day 2 host, and the Bobcats would close out the tournament shooting a 341, giving them a 2 day team total of 678, making the Bobcats District Champs once again for the 5th straight year. Davey Hogg posted an 81 for his final round, allowing him to secure the 1st place medalist spot, with Owen Sims shooting an 86, to secure a top 5 finish.
The Bobcats will travel to Brenham to compete in the regional tournament , which will be held at the Brenham Country Club, April 13 &14.
