
Wednesday Little Cypress-Mauriceville had five athletes sign the line to continue playing sports at the next level.
Jacob Longlois (above) is the first LCM grad to earn a bass fishing scholarship as he’ll attend Drury University in Missouri. Besides all of the tournaments he has won, the talented angler and student was also one of 12 chosen as a Bassmaster High School All American.
Luke McDow of LCM signed to play football at McPherson College in Kansas. Luke was a first team all-district selection at LB for the Bears last season and a Willie Ray Smith finalist.
Jacelynn Cook signed today to play softball at Northeast CC in MtPleasant. The Bears second baseman has been a four yr starter for Coach Dena Adkins.
Alantheon Winn will keep his basketball talents close to home as he signed with Lee College in Baytown. Winn was the Offensive player of the year in the district this season.
Daunte Greer will play football at Friends University, an NAIA D2 school in Kansas. He announced his decision in front of friends and family today.
