Sunday afternoon five people including three children were taken to the hospital after they were struck from behind by a pickup truck on Hwy. 87. Witnesses said they were traveling southbound and attempted to stop at the traffic light at 87 and FM 3247 (Echo). The two people in the pickup did not have life-threatening injuries.
