The Pinehurst Fire Dept. was called to the former senior citizen and rehab center located on Cardinal St. around 1:45pm Thursday.
The fire was located in the attic of the facility. It was put out in a short time but the investigation showed no electricity to the building and the cause is considered suspicious.
The Orange Fire Dept., West Orange and ESD #3 also assisted Pinehurst.
