According to OCESD3 personnel on scene, they responded to a reported structure fire at 9600 Old Hwy 87 in Little Cypress Saturday just before 2pm.
The first unit arrived to find a home heavily engulfed in flames. The home owner and two dogs were able to escape. One female occupant was transported to a hospital for treatment. The fire appears to have started in the garage and spread to the house.
Mutual aid was provided by OCESD 1 and 4, South Newton County, West Orange, Orange, Pinehurst and Acadian Ambulance.
