On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a disturbance involving several individuals occurred outside of County Court at Law #2 in Orange.
Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded promptly to the scene and were able to quickly control the situation, separating the involved parties. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
The incident remains under review. The Sheriff’s Office is currently examining available video footage to determine if any further action is warranted. Any relevant information resulting from the investigation will be forwarded to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for review.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend its appreciation to the Orange Police Department, Constable Lannie Claybar, and the West Orange Police Department for their rapid and professional response to assist in maintaining public safety.
