At approximately 4:30p.m. Wednesday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Orange County. The crash occurred near mile marker 858 and involved a commercial motor vehicle.
Initial reports indicate that a commercial motor vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 when it collided with another vehicle. The impact caused a vehicle fire which blocked the westbound traffic lanes of Interstate 10.
A Houston man in the vehicle died in the accident.
