The Stark Museum of Art invites families to a day of creativity, exploration and fun during Family Day on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This special event encourages families to experience art together through fun activities designed for children of all ages, as well as the new exhibition “Childhood Classics: 100 Years of Original Illustration” from the Art Kandy Collection. Admission and all activities are free of charge.
“Childhood Classics,” on view through July 12, showcases the artistry behind some of the most beloved children’s books of all time. Guests will have the opportunity to view original illustrations from classic stories that have inspired generations of readers. From whimsical characters to stunning visual storytelling, “Childhood Classics” celebrates the timeless work of illustrators who have shaped childhood memories for more than a century.
Adding to the excitement, families will be delighted by a special visit from the beloved Poky Little Puppy! This cherished storybook character will be on hand to greet visitors and provide an extra touch of fun to the day’s festivities.
