When you throw two no-hitters in the same week it wasn’t a tough decision for the AOTW Staff to select Bridge City’s Carson Fall as the KOGT Athlete of the Week sponsored by First Financial Bank.
In a 10-0 win over Lumberton and a 6-1 win over Jasper, Fall recorded 32 strikeouts and missed having two Perfect Games by one error in the Lumberton game and one walk in the Jasper game.
“Carson is the backbone of this team,” said Head Coach Raven Harris. “She brings a level of intensity that our other players feed off of.”
The Lady Cards are currently 4-1 in district.
