Emma Jean Griffin, 79, was born Jan. 3, 1946 to Charles and Beulah Mae Desper of Orange, Tx. She gained her wings Feb. 10, 2025.
A life long resident of Bridge City, Tx, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas J. Griffin Sr. of Bridge City, son Larry Griffin and Denise of Mauriceville, son Roger Griffin and Rhonda of Vineland, Tx., Thomas J. Griffin Jr. Of Bridge City and daughter Sandra Griffin of Bridge City. Her brother Albert and wife Deborah Desper of Bridge City, Tony and wife Sue Simar of Mauriceville, 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren .
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Davis, sisters Lucille Calhoun, Carol Daigle, her son James Griffin and grandson Brad Williams.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
