
Ellen “Candy” Marsella Keath-Vincent, 64, of Vidor, passed away on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Candy dedicated her life to helping others as a counselor for the state of Texas at Spindletop.
Candy was known for her artistic and creative spirit, always finding beauty in the world around her. She had a deep love for animals, especially horses, and her beloved dog, Lilly, was always by her side. Whether through her art, her work, or her kindness, Candy left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Jonathan Flanigan and wife Beth of Vidor, TX, Leslie Flanigan of Vidor, TX, and Rachel Johnson and husband Thomas of Spotsylvania, VA. She also leaves behind her special grandchildren, Brayden Bergeron of VA, Meshelle Keath of Vidor, TX, and Jayden Bergeron of Vidor, TX.
Candy is also survived by her mother, Anna Armstrong of Vidor, TX, and her siblings, Rocky Armstrong and wife Stacy of Vidor, TX, Robert Corbello and wife Donna of Beaumont, TX, Priscilla Williams of Winnie, TX, Toni Condina and her husband Robert of Austin, TX, and Michael Lloyd Armstrong and wife Lyndall of Longview, TX. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Armstrong, and her grandparents, Elsie Bruce and Elsie Blance Armstrong.
Candy’s life was one filled with love, creativity, and compassion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
