
Orange County ended early voting Friday with a total of 18,612 ballots cast. Election Day is Tuesday and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. KOGT radio will have live coverage.
On Tuesday, registered voters must go to their assigned voting box, which can be found on the voter’s registration card. Voters will need an approved photo ID like a driver’s license, US passport or concealed handgun license. Student IDs are not accepted.
Early voting ended with the Orange box getting 5,670 votes, the Bridge City box had 4,806, Vidor had 4,960, and Mauriceville had 2,179.
The West Orange-Cove school district’s $25.75 million bond election ended with a total of 2,353 early votes.
