Edward Butch Wynne Bishop, 76, of Orange, Texas, suddenly passed away on January 17, 2018 after a long illness. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm in The Cemetery on FM 1130.
Butch was born on November 29, 1941 in Orange, Texas to Ezra and Maxine Bishop. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Ed’s greatest joy was his 51 year marriage to his high school sweetheart, Sylvia. His proudest moments were watching his children and grandchildren grow into the adults they have become. His great grandchild, Christian kept the twinkle in his eyes burning bright. He will greatly missed by all who were touched by his selfless and kind heart, he was always there to help anyone any time.
Ed is preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Marie Walked Bishop, his parents Ezra and Maxine Bishop and his brothers, Ezra Earl, Max and Dickey Bishop.
Survivors include his three children, David Bishop and wife Sherry of Breckenridge, MO, Stacy Bishop of Orange, TX, and Robin Priser and husband Roy of Ponchatoula, LA. Six grandchildren, Phillip Pittala and Randi Ragan, Courtney Pittala, Robyn Graham and Teslyn Tidwell, Gage Bishop – Snider and wife Rebekah, Daysha Bishop-Read and husband Brandon and Dalton Bishop; one great grandchild Christian Graham. Also survived by numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews.
