Born in Eunice, on Louisiana, she was the daughter of Frank Moore and Corrine (Carpenter) Moore. Edna was a very loving woman that cared and thought of everyone, sending birthday cards to anyone she could. She was very content with her family including her loving dog Max that she cared for dearly. Edna often reflected and recounted of her days working at the theater, ABC store, and the nursing home in Orange. She was truly dedicated to others. Edna was also a devout Christian, always attending services and prayed the rosary every day. She was a wonderful woman that will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis “Slim” Seilhan; parents, Frank and Corrine Moore; brothers, George Moore and Paul Moore; sisters, Lillian Moore Abshire, Ada Moore Bergeron, and Mary Celeste Moore Curry; niece that she raised and was like a daughter to her, Mary Diane Bryan and husband Kenneth; and her great niece and nephew, Dina R. Bryan and Robert A. Bryan.
She is survived by her great nephew, David Bryan and wife Rachel along with their daughters Izabella Grace Bryan and Emily Karris Bryan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate a small donation to the service of Mrs. Edna Seilhan.
