Edith (Granny) Elliott departed this world on April 16, 2017 to be with her heavenly Father in heaven. She was born on April 21, 1924. She was a loving mother and grandmother to all and who loved her Lord and her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Elliott, her son Vernon Ray (Bud) Tackett, three sisters and four brothers. A grandson Shawn Porter and great granddaughter Nicole Regel.
She is survived by her daughter Emogene Porter of Trinity, Texas and a sister Imogene Stumbo of Coal Grove, Ohio. Her grandchildren, Michael Porter, Lisa Gonzales, Linda Frederick and David Porter. Numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Taylor Funeral Home in Pinellas Park, Florida with Sister Ruth Burch officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Taylor Funeral Home.
