Eddie Lee LaFleur, Jr. age 53 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019, at his home. Services to honor Eddie’s life will be held at 12:00 PM, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Dorman Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Damon Bickham officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM, at Clark Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Dorman Funeral Home.
Eddie was born in Marrero, Louisiana on June 22, 1966 to Peggy Stroder LaFleur and Eddie Lee LaFleur, Sr. He worked for many years as a welder. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Eddie loved spending time with his family that he loved so much.
Eddie’s granddaughter Trinity Lee was there to take his hand and lead him home to heaven.
Those left to cherish Eddie’s memory are his wife Connie LaFleur of Deweyville, TX, parents Eddie Lee and Peggy LaFleur, Sr., three children; Derek Rodrick and his wife Staci of Vidor, TX, Cristy Musselwhite of Deweyville, TX and Amy Rodrick of Deweyville, TX, brother Brent LaFleur and his wife Melissa of Lumberton, TX, five grandchildren; Kaitlyn Cheatwood, Lane Musselwhite, Sawyer Hantz, Kason Rodrick and Kenley Rodrick, two great grandchildren, Kensley and Carson, nephew Zackry LaFleur of Vidor and great niece Eden Elizabeth LaFleur.
Eddie LaFleur, Sr., Brent LaFleur, Amy Rodrick , Derek Rodrick Adam Musselwhite and Chad WIlliams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Musselwhite and Zackry LaFleur.
