The driver of this GMC Envoy escaped injury as his vehicle went up in flames on Friday afternoon.
He told people at the scene that he was driving on I-10 and noticed smoke in the car. He quickly pulled off at a convenience at the intersection of 10 and Hwy. 62. When he stopped in the parking lot flames began coming out from under the hood.
The Orange Fire Department put out the fire.
