Donald “Don” Campbell, 62, of Orange, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2024, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Granger Cemetery in Orange.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Washington, on January 22, 1962, he was the son of Curtis and Paula Campbell. Don dedicated over 33 years of his life as a roll-off truck driver for Clean Harbors Environmental. He was a man of many wonderful qualities. He was very caring and kind, always taking the time to help others when he could. He had a passion for working in his shop and enjoyed woodworking. Most important to him, however, was the time he spent with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Don will be remembered for his loving spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Paula Campbell; mother, Carol Bakke; father and mother-in-laws, Bennie and Lynell Gallier; and sisters, Judy Devers and Elaine Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lori Campbell; son, Jason Bertrand; fur babies, Rockee and Odie; bonus son, Apollo Prejean; uncle, Lanny Bennett and wife Donna; aunt, Kathy Bakke Hendry; brother-in-law, Eric Gallier and wife Meshell; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
