On May 12 at 9:36 pm, officers with the Orange Police Department, where dispatched to 5725 N 16th St. (Dollar General) in reference to a robbery in progress. As officers were arriving, the suspect fled out a rear exit, located on the North side of the building. After an extensive search, the suspect was not located. He was described as a tall black male, wearing an orange hoodie, white pants and shoes, with a white netting covering his face. He was also brandishing a small black pistol. The suspect dropped the money he was given inside the store prior to exiting. The investigation is still on going at this time.
