Diamond Rae Granger, 35, of Orangefield, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas. A graveside service to honor Diamond’s life, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home, will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Granger Cemetery.
On Friday, July 26, 1985, Diamond was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Charlotte Ann (Blackwell) and Jack Ray Granger, and was a resident of Orangefield, Texas, until her passing. To know Diamond, was to love Diamond. She was a happy person, who always enjoyed making others laugh, and was always willing to help others. Diamond enjoyed planting flowers in her garden and spending time near the water, at Cow Bayou. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Diamond in death is her father, Jack Granger; maternal grandparents, JC and Opal Blackwell; paternal grandparents, Horace and Sylvania Granger; and nephew, Riley Hickey.
Those left to cherish Diamond’s memory are her mother, Charlotte Granger, of Orangefield, Texas; daughter, Destiny Rae Granger, of Orangefield, Texas; sister, Sheree Aven, of Orange, Texas; brothers, David Granger and his wife, Doreen, of Virginia, and Donny Granger and his wife, Joanne, of Taiwan; nieces and nephews, Ashton Aven and her husband, Cameron, Landon Hickey, Chrisleigh Granger, and Cody Granger; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
