Hope Hardin was recognized as the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce Student of the month. She is currently ranked 1st in her class and intends to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology at Lamar University in Beaumont. She is the daughter of TJ and Holly Hardin.
Mrs. Shirlene Hryhorchuk was honored by the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce as their Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Hryhorchuk has been in education for 52 years, with 50 of those years at Deweyville ISD. She is currently the Family and Consumer Science Teacher but she has also had many other teaching jobs during her tenure including teaching English, History and Science. She has also sponsored Cheerleaders, UIL events, FHA, FCCLA and NHS.
