Devin Jamal Moore, Sr., born on March 12, 1997, to Troyshetta Angelo and Ernest Moore, Jr., left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Known for his radiant smile and athletic prowess, Devin thrived in sports, excelling in track and football during his formative years at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Graduating from West Orange-Stark High School as a proud Mighty Mustang in 2015, Devin’s achievements extended far beyond the field.
Embracing the joys of fatherhood, Devin treasured his son, Devin Jr., who brought immense pride and happiness into his life.
Remembered fondly by his loving family and many friends, Devin is survived by his son, Devin Moore Jr., devoted mother, Troyshetta Angelo, his father, Ernest Moore, Jr., his grandparents, Janice Netherly, Richard Netherly, Sr. (Jona), Troy Angelo, Sr. (Letitia) Ernest Moore, Sr. (Pat), and Betty Alexander; and his great-grandmother, Agnes Thomas. In addition to his immediate family, Devin leaves behind his siblings: Jermiyah Amerson, Brooklynn Rogers, Josh Wiley, Jacoby Moore, and EriAnna Moore. He will also be deeply missed by his aunts and uncles: Trina Moore, Madeline Kirksey, Alfred Clark, Troy Angelo, Jr., Hunter Angelo, Ebonique Veal (Quintin), Xavier King, Sr., Richard Netherly, Jr. (KaSarah), and Vontearr Edwards (Waltaneke), and numerous other relatives who will deeply feel his absence.
The legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that Devin left behind continues to uplift and motivate those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he may no longer be with us in the physical sense, his spirit will forever dwell in the hearts of those who cherished him. May Devin rest in eternal peace.
Home going celebration will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Starlight Church Of God In Christ, Orange, TX. 77630. Service time is 11:00 AM. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM time of service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery in Orange.
