Denzel Deron Jackson was born October 24,1992 in Port Arthur, Texas to Gwendolyn Burnette & James Jackson. As a child Denzel attended Smyma COCIG and this is when he gave his life to God.
Denzel, known to his friends as “D-Jack” attended West Brook High School. His favorite sports were football, baseball & basketball. He always kept a smile on his face and was full of energy. He loved to spend time with his family & friends. His 3 boys were the loves of his life. Denzel was a dream chaser and his goal was to work off shore, he reached that goal when he landed a job at Enterprise Products.
Denzel is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roy Burnette Sr. & Robert “Bubba” Jackson, his aunt Amanda Kiser & God Brother Deandre Henson.
Forever to cherish his memories are his kids; Kai Jackson, Yanis Jackson of Orange, TX, and Jaiceon Jackson of Beaumont, TX, step-kids; Amir Bell, & Paven Kone of Orange, TX, his mother; Gwendolyn Burnette of Beaumont, TX, dad; James Jackson of Vinton, LA, his grandmothers; Easter Burnette of Orange, TX & Betty Jackson of Vinton, LA, a loving partner; Aushante Bell of Orange, TX, sisters; Tyshiona Jackson, Robin Jackson of Vinton, LA, step-sister; Shawna Guillory, step-brothers; Shravin Guillory & Shemire Guillory all of Vinton, LA, friends that he considered his brothers; Roosevelt “Rosie D” Norman, Nathan Payton of Beaumont, TX, Adrian “AD” Bennett Jr. of Dallas Tx. Denzel will also leave a hosts of family members, nieces, & friends, to forever cherish his memory.
Going home celebration will be Saturday, the 2nd day of October 2021 at 11 in the morning at Starlight Church of God in Christ, 2800 Bob Hall Rd., Orange, Texas 77630. Visitation is from 9:30am until time of service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Orange.
