The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Delores “Mickey “Arnett, 80, of Orange, will be Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3 pm at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 until 3pm. Disposition will be cremation. Known to most as “Mickey,” Delores Jane Arnett was born St. Patrick’s Day, 1945, in Lake Charles, LA. She passed August 24, 2025, in Houston, TX. Residing in Orange for some 55 years, she retired from the West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District as a Bus Driver after some 35 years.
A member of the St. Paul Church, she was an Usher, and a member of the Mission. She was also a member of the Heroines of Jericho.
Survivors include her husband, Lonny Ray Arnett, son, Patrick Arnett (Pamela) of Houston, TX, daughters Hannah Arnett of Orange and Alona Percy (Quincy) of Houston, 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
