David Ray Alexander, Sr., 81 of Conroe passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born in Kilbourne, Louisiana to Charlie and Eula Alexander on August 26, 1942.
David served in the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1966 during the Vietnam era and was stationed for 18 months in Tripoli. He enjoyed raising horses and everything that it entailed, riding his tractor and supporting his Houston Astros. David was a loving, kind and passionate person. His family was his first priority. He will be greatly missed, but will forever live in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Margaret Alexander, children David Ray Alexander, Jr and Jennifer, Shelly Renee Alexander and Mark Kennedy, grandsons Aaron Leigh Courville, Dakota Alexander, Max Mackenzie Adams, and Dylan Alexander, great grandchildren, Paris LeAnne Courville, Wesley Beau Courville, and Eliana Grace Alexander. David was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Eula Alexander, along with his brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home located at 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. Graveside services will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery located at 4320 Meeks Dr., Orange, Texas 77632 on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
