David Mann was born March 12, 1965, and passed away November 12, 2025, at the age of 60.
David was known for his steady hands, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved, he leaves behind a legacy built with the same care and craftsmanship he brought to every piece of wood he ever touched.
A carpenter by trade and at heart, he had a special gift for creating beauty and strength from simple materials. Whether he was building something grand or repairing something small, he approached every task with pride, patience, and a perfectionist’s eye. His work will continue to stand as a testament to his skill and character.
He found great joy in his work at WillScot, a place he considered his second home. He genuinely loved his job and spoke often of how much he enjoyed working alongside his coworkers. The friendships he built there meant the world to him, and his colleagues knew him as someone they could rely on, hardworking, kind, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
But above all else, he cherished his family. Time spent with them, sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying the comfort of each other’s presence, was what he valued most in life. Those closest to him will forever remember his warm laugh, his kind heart, and the way he made every gathering feel like home.
He also appreciated life’s simple pleasures, especially sitting back with a cold Dr Pepper in hand. It was in those quiet moments, surrounded by the people he loved or reflecting on the work of a day well done, that he found joy.
He will be deeply missed, but his love, his craftsmanship, and the memories he created will live on in all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Sedita and husband Tony; grandchildren, Dallas, Decker, and Liberty; mother of Amanda, Letha Mann; mother, Carolyn Brister; stepfather, Don Brister; brother, Jason Seibert and wife Machelle; uncle, Clifford Mosley; nieces, Leia Gravett, Elysia Mann, Tabitha Mann, and Jade King; and nephew, Blake Drake; 12 grand nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Mann, and Charles Mann; grandparents, Pete and Bernice Mosley.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, at Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas.
