David Arthur Clark, Sr., 57, of Orange, passed away on July 20, 2020, in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Born in Bethesda, Maryland, on December 28, 1962, he was the son of James Clark and Sandy (Haynes) Condon. David moved frequently in his younger years, and grew to love traveling internationally, enjoying Europe specifically. He worked for Chevron in Orange for over 30 years, with a portion of that time in the Middle East. David met his soulmate, Kerry on a blind date and within 8 days they were engaged and spent an absolutely blissful 18 years together building a life they loved. He enjoyed building things, home renovations, and spending time tending to his lawn. David’s pride and joy were his grandchildren, whom lovingly referred to him as their “PaPa”. Any opportunity he had to spend with them he cherished deeply, making it a goal to always make memories with them. His dogs were his babies and he loved their constant companionship.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Clark, and mother, Sandy Condon.
He is survived by the love of his life, Kerry Clark; step-father, Dennis Condon; children: Kim Adams and husband Eric of Buna, Nikki Guerrero and husband Jorge of Mauriceville, Tricia Gordon of Mauriceville, and David Clark Jr. of Mauriceville; grandchildren: Hunter, Lane, Michelle, Barbie, Luke, Lance, Madison, Logan, Alison, Odes, Emma, Jaxon, and Molly; siblings: James Clark and wife Wendy, Kim Milliken and husband Randy, Debbie Ponza and husband Allen, Stephanie Perry and husband Anthony; numerous nieces and nephews; and fur-babies: Savanna, Buddeee, Hanna, Max, and Fran Fine.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jorge Guerrero; David Clark, Jr.; Steve Hogan; Mark Hanks; Gavyn Hanks; and Kinnley Rodrigue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made towards the maintenance of Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
