Curtis Paul Havard, Sr., age 40, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas. A memorial service to honor Curtis’ life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Dorman Funeral Home; Pastor Damon Bickham officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 12:00 pm, until service time.
On Friday, October 17, 1980, Curtis was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Hazel King and Owens B. Havard. Curtis was a loving father, family man, and friend. He always made sure to do whatever he could, to help out the ones he loved, even if it was just to provide them with a smile or a good laugh.
Curtis is preceded in death by his father, Owens B. Havard, ste-father, Donnie Vincent, brothers, Gregory Vincent, Stanley Harvard, and Owen Havard, and sister, Theresa Vincent.
Those left to cherish Curtis’ memory are his sons, Curtis Havard, Jr. and his wife, Geannie, of Columbus, Indiana, and Matthew Havard, of Columbus, Indiana; mother of his children, Monica Mathis, of Columbus, Indiana; brothers, Donnie Vincent and his wife, Barbara, of Lumberton, Texas, Thad Vincent and his wife, Dawn, of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Jerry Vincent, of Orange, Texas; sisters, Joy Smart, of Orange, Texas, and Trinity Havard, of Orange, Texas; and numerous members of extended family, and friends.
