Curt Dale Block, 73, of Orange, died Monday, December 23, 2019. He was born on December 1, 1946, in Port Arthur, to Doris Bertha Richard Block and Louis Leon Block.
Curt enjoyed woodworking; music; camping; umpiring; fishing; and crabbing.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Block, of Orange; daughters, Gina Lynn Hampton and her husband, Tom, of Fritch; Lori Ann Ezell and her husband, Rabon, of Orange; and Angie Rachell Hebert and her husband, Tim, of Port Neches; son, Curt Steven Block, of Bridge City; grandchildren, Brittainy Robbins and her husband, Billy, of Fritch; Erica Cook and her husband, Bret, of Borger; Adam Almaguer, of Amarillo; Sara Ballard, of Fritch; Aaron Hampton and his wife, Natalie, of Stinnett; Angela Hampton, of Stinnett; Taylor Ezell and his wife, Michelle, of Orange; Justin Ezell and his wife, Mikaela, of Flower Mound; and Shelby Hebert, of Chico, California; great-grandchildren, Kaydence Robbins; Madison Robbins; Olivia Robbins; Brynlea Robbins; Harper Robbins; Coleson Hampton; Hailey McLaughlin; Landen McLaughlin; Zoey Cook; Sophie Cook; Jaycee Cook; Kai Ezell; Demi Ezell; Mason Ezell; and Liam Ezell; sisters, Beverly Duhon and Donna Leverett and her husband, Harry; and brother, Steve Block and his wife, Christy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne and Russell Block; great-grandson, Caden Hampton; and brother-in-law, Mike Duhon.
A gathering of Mr. Block’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
