LSCO President Dr. Tom Johnson and the Crochett Family awarded two students scholarships in memory of their late uncle/brother and former LSCO Process Technology instructor, Melvin Crochett.
Melvin Crochett taught at Lamar State College Orange for 7 years, from 2014 to 2021.
This semester’s recipients of the Melvin Crochett Memorial Scholarship are Alberto Munguia, a Bridge City native, and Quinton Garrett, an Orange native. Both appear with President Dr. Tom Johnson and Donavon Crochett, Melvin Crochett’s nephew.
LSCO appreciates the generosity of the Crochett Family in providing this memorial scholarship and opportunity for our Gators.
