
Coy “Mann” Eastwood Elliott III, 74, of Orange, passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at his residence.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Orange, Texas, and a faithful member of Cove Baptist Church. Coy was a proud member of Pipe Fitter Local Union #198, where he worked hard and made lifelong friendships before retiring.
Coy had a zest for life and a heart full of humor and curiosity. He loved his cats and treated them like family, enjoyed taking cruises and seeing new places, and was fascinated with flying—earning his pilot’s license and spending countless hours in the sky. He was also an avid fan of The Price is Right and never missed an episode, often guessing along with the contestants.
He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Karen Elliott of Orange, TX; his children, Jason Truax of Walker, LA, Tiffany Truax of Denham Springs, LA, Ashley Grubbs of Dexter, GA, and Mike Cardwell and wife Heather of Dublin, GA; sister Deborah Wilson and husband Elmer of Vidor, TX; and brother Wesley Holden of Houston, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought joy and pride to his life.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Elliott Jr. and Glenda Edgerton, and his beloved son, Coy Eastwood Elliott IV, and sister Brenda Chandler.
He will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and his generous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
