Commercial sales in Orange County still steadily rose in June as people continue to buy goods months after Tropical Storm Harvey.
However sales may begin to slow down. At an Orange City Council budget workshop last week, Councilor Brad Childs, who owns the local Ace Hardware store, said he has noticed sales at his store starting to taper down after the flood. Plus, City Manager Dr. Shawn Oubre said the sales will be leveling off.
