A family owned business for the last 89 years is coming back to Orange County. Coburn’s Supply is opening in Pinehurst on Strickland Drive where Triple L Honda was located for many years.
“We’re looking at opening in Mid-July,” according to Brian McNeely with Coburn’s. “And we’re excited to come back to the Orange area.”
Coburn’s was located in the former Price & Tarpley building near the Lutcher Theater years ago. Following some damage to the building after Hurricane Ike in 2008, they decided not to reopen.
“The Orange area has a lot going right now with expansions and new homes being built,” McNeely said. “We feel this is the perfect time for us to bring our products here so contractors and home owners won’t have to make the trip to Beaumont.”
Coburn’s is a distributor of commercial and residential plumbing, electrical, waterworks and HVAC products and services.
The Strickland location is about 7000 square feet with a large warehouse in the back. McNeely says they’ll start with three full-time employees.
Coburn’s has more than 50 locations and three centrally located distribution centers serving Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
