With May comes the end of school and the beginning of the KOGT.com 2025 edition of Coaches on the Move.
Coaches come and go every school year. We appreciate the time you spent here and wish you the best wherever you move too. And we say “Welcome” to the new coaches coming to the area or in some cases, coming back to the area like DJ Wilson and Dan Welch. Wilson was once the girls basketball coach at WOS. Their last playoff appearance was when Wilson was on staff. And Welch is back on the sidelines in Vidor after spending several years with the Bobcats during Josh Smalley’s tenure.

We also include coaches who call Orange County home but may be somewhere else coaching. We welcome back to the area Coach Andre Bevil. The former WOS QB has coached at several different schools but this week was named the new Athletic Director at Port Arthur Memorial.
