Christopher Ivan Dock Jones, 42 of Newton, Texas died on Aug. 21, 2016 at his residence. He was born on Aug. 30, 1973 in Orange, Texas and had lived in Newton since 2005. He was a scale operator at Southern Forest Products in Newton, He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and family poker night.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Jones of Newton, Tx, parents, Randy Dock and Jean Ann Jones of Woodville, Tx, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and Carl bullock of Mauriceville, Tx, sons, Jeremiah Colter Jones and wife, Tina of Mauriceville, Tx, Joshua Alan Colter Jones and wife, Jennifer of Bridge City and Christian Jones of Newton, daughter, Sheena Jones Adams and husband, Richard of Hawaii, grandchildren, Emily, Alyssa, Shayla and Jason, brother, Jonathan Jones of Newton, sister, Melissa Jones of Newton, uncle and aunts, Duane and Joy Jones of Port Arthur, Tx, Lewanna Jones of Beaumont, Tx and Wenonah Jones of Houston, Tx and several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home in Newton.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home. A gathering will be held following the funeral service at Christopher’s home.
