Chris Clayton Myers, 52, of Vidor, passed away on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center in Houston. A native of Beaumont and a lifelong resident of Vidor, Chris was known for his kind heart, love of the outdoors, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.
Chris worked as a plant inspector for Acuren PMI in Beaumont for over 20 years, where he was respected for his dedication and expertise. Away from work, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, hunting, playing golf, and spending quality time with those he loved. Whether it was sharing a laugh with friends or indulging in his favorite treat—ice cream—Chris made every moment count. He attended Pine Forest Baptist Church and carried his faith with him in everything he did.
Chris leaves behind his greatest pride, his children, Madison Myers and Jonathan Myers, both of Vidor, TX. He also leaves behind a close-knit circle of friends he considered family, his “bonus brothers”: Shane Jiminez and Lisa of Vidor, TX; Farron Mayhugh and wife Angela of Lumberton, TX; Scott Claiborne and wife Melissa of Port Arthur, TX; Wade Friddle and wife Flavia of Austin, TX; Chade Maida and wife Mandy of Sulphur, LA; Colt Potter and wife Melinda of Mauriceville, TX; and Kenny Smith and wife Holly of Beaumont, TX.
Chris will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his love, laughter, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
